School holidays – Fun for kids and overtime duty for mums and dads. I strongly feel the most difficult job in this world to keep the children engaged during those holidays and especially if the weather is not helping you anymore!
I was lucky enough to be invited “with the children” for a few exciting events including an adventurous day out to Thorpe park, viewing some new toys range and also a day of learning about colours through fun with HP Instant Ink.
Hewlett Packard hosted the event to help children learn about Inks and colours, dots and Pixels and also helped the mums and dads to learn about the benefits of HP Instant Ink. The Ink Expert, Thom Brown was helping the children on how the printer works and how the ink helps the printer to make a perfect picture.
Towards the end of the event, HP set a challenge to us to take part in #HPFreeyourPics Challenge, only when I realised how old the pictures are in our fridge… Though I managed to capture every lovely moment of my adorable children and often run out of memory on my iPhone and SD Card, I have never bothered about printing them and replacing those old pictures. We have an integrated fridge, so we miss the fun of making a mess on the fridge but I do keep all our pictures on the display unit and on the Notice board.
In two weeks time,we were provided with a HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer and also a few Goodies to get started with the challenge and HP assured there will be no end to printing with the HP Instant Ink subscription.
HP 5530 is the most affordable good quality printer with all the best features you would expect from a basic Inkjet printer
With the Hp Instant Ink, You will never run out of ink and once you have subscribed for the HP Instant Ink service, the printer will send a message when the printer is about to run out of Ink meaning you will soon be expecting the automatic delivery of the New ink Cartridges.
Though the setup was very easy, I did have a few problems to achieve the best prints and being a geek mummy, I love troubleshooting the issues myself to find the best solution. Only when everything fails and I am exhausted I seek the technical support. Watch this space for the issues I have encountered and the resolutions.
The good thing is, 5530 supports wireless and printing directly from your smartphone. I will be doing another post about how to make the most out of HP 5530 and enjoy the advanced features of printing. Please do come back and visit here. Right now, Here is the new look of our beloved picture board 🙂
It is retailed around 79£ but I have seen it on sale for around 59£ on some of the major retailers. The HP Instant Ink is best to consider to free your mind from the fear of running out of ink when you need it most.
I remember having a fridge completely hidden behind the magnetic letters when DD1 was a toddler and realised how much we miss it now, mainly DD2. I decided to get one of the walls painted with magnetic paint and use all those lovely goodies we received from HP and make sure DD2 never miss those fun times just because I preferred a less maintenance fridge.
I would love to see how you transform your Fridge now, take part in #HPFreeYourPics challenge and give a fresh look to your Picture Gallery.
Disclaimer: We were invited to the #HPFreeYourPics event and provided with a HP Printer Plus an yearly subscription to HP Instant Ink and also some goodies to take part in the challenge. All the opinions are my own.
