Want to help a Robot find his missing parts!? We did a #Scavengerhunt. Will you!?

You must have read our recent post about the New Statoil Wonderlab Gallery opening at Science Museum and the competition hosted by Statoil to encourage the public to participate in a scavenger hunt to find the missing parts of the Wondroid robot.  

The moment I told the kids about the Scavenger hunt, they screamed out of excitement and couldn’t wait to start hunting. Well, the little one had no clue about it but was truly happy and amazed about the fact that her sister was letting her follow to wherever she goes and whatever she does, which usually is a rare case here!

The competition ends on 28th September. As we are usually busy on most weekday evenings and few weekends are pre-occupied with DD1’s tournaments, we decided to head to London on one free weekday evening. London lights are something I never get bored of and while the kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt, I had a feast to my eyes with beautifully demonstrated lights.

It is a great excitement for the kids to locate the Wondroid parts and catch them on the go. I am sure you would love to join in and if you do so, please head to Wondroid Challenge.com, where you will find all the instructions and terms and conditions. You need to download an application called “Traces“. You can find the link to download the application on the Wondroid challenge website, or simply search for “Traces” on your Android/iPhone device. 

Once you download the application and register yourself, you can then input your location in the map to reveal the nearest traces around the area. The Wondroid traces are available at London, Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth. 

To get you started, there are clues and hints to reveal the clues on the website. 

Once you trace the first clue, the second one will be revealed. Two of the London locations are about 10 minutes walk to each other while the other one is slightly far, that you may have to take a tube. We travelled by car so, reached the places within 5 minutes. 

After catching all the traces, it will be stored in your moments on the Traces application, which then, you can submit to enter the competition.
