Being a SAHM has it’s own pros and cons. Though, sometimes you feel like you are left alone and has less (no) social life, quite often you will find yourself engaged in discussing few interesting topics with other mums while you are walking home from school.
While the discussion has a lot of potential to turn into a debate, I do find it interesting. After all, there are days you return home with handful of ideas and valuable information after the debate just like our tumble dryer one at playschool.
Today, we were talking about the home appliances and had a fun poll with the list of few appliances that you think you would be scared to live without. While kettle and toaster were hitting the top of the list, microwaves seemed to be the third popular kitchen/home appliance that anyone would have by default and may be … we can read it as “a Kitchen appliance you can’t live without”.
Having a few Panasonic products at home including a Panasonic wet grinder and Panasonic G-10 and my recent, most loved Panasonic IPL, we were also discussing about the Panasonic kitchen ranges and how affordable they are.
And, after sole heartedly agreeing that Microwaves could be the third most important kitchen appliance, we obviously were interested to find out how many of us would prefer an integrated Microwaves.
Though it seems, Integrated microwaves are more trendy and stylish, most of us weren’t too keen to vote for it as it is usually expensive and doesn’t do any better than a stand alone Microwave (I have an integrated microwave in my Kitchen, but… honestly I preferred a stand alone one and as space was the constraint and I have very less work top space I opted in for integrated)
So… I am keen to know your thoughts.
What would be your first three choices of Kitchen appliances?
And if you choose Microwaves to be one of the top three, Would you prefer an integrated or standalone?
Right! I’m going kettle, blender then microwave. Technically microwave is my most used of all these and you could boile water in it but there was a couple of years I had a tiny kithen and didn’t have one and I was much less lazy. I’m so over integrated, they’re much smaller and harder to replace, think I’m gonna work on having a bigger kitchen 😉
I have to say Fridge, Oven and then Kettle – I couldn’t live without all three
I’d add washing machine to this, but I can’t add a fourth lol
🙂 I still wonder how they lived without these years ago! 🙂
I know! So many things in my home that I would choose for that list – I’m a new homeowner, so everything seems likes a miracle worker right now!
As new homeowner and mother (all happening so quickly!) any chance I could ask for your advice on something?
Modern day’s Grinder is useful in every home wet grinders are frequently used when making dosas and idlis. grinders makes them a great addition to any kitchen. it will helpful for me to design my kitchen I really excited kitchen accessories Whether you cook or not. The Kitchens always should be clean and attractive. thanks for sharing
Clearly for me it’s the refrigerator, microwave and a small oven.
Countertop ovens are great to cook small pieces of meat, kebabs, sausages when you’re cooking for only one person and don’t want to waste energy.
For the microwave, I have to pick standalone because unfortunately integrated ones aren’t that reliable and are expensive to fix!
