There is a bug in the kitchen, very active and ever moving. Your job is either to trap him in your cage or push him to someone else’s kitchen :)… Sounds interesting; isn’t it!? This is a new game from Ravensburger, featuring a battery-operated Hexbug nano.
This is the most exciting game we all have played together with lots of screams and shouts. The Nano bug is looks so real and has never stopped running around from the time he was released from the cage. The kids absolutely loved it and kept on screaming through the game as they were trying to trap the bug in their slot / or the other way round.
The game comes with a game board, 24 utensils that can be turned to direct the bug towards the trap, two doors (that can be used to block the traps when there are less than 4 players, a die, 4 trap cards and 24 bug tokens to reward the winner each time.
The best part of the game is ” the box itself is the game board and once the initial setup, everything stays within the box and you are ready to play anytime.”
Throw the die to decide which utensil you turn to make way to the bug. Plan your move strategically so you can direct the bug wither to your trap or to someone else’s depending on the type of game you play. Every time when you win/loose you collect a coin.
We made our games like below
If you are playing a game of trapping the bug in your slot, the first to earn 5 coins wins the game/ or you can play till you finish all the coins and the one who earned more coins wins the game.
If you are playing a game of trapping the bug in someone else’s slot, then the first to earn 5 coins looses the game and the game goes on until everyone is eliminated except the winner/ or you can play till you finish all the coins and the one who earned less coins wins the game. 🙂
Overall, it is a very entertaining family game that can last for 20 minutes but you are surely in for a great fun family time. It is not only a perfect weekend game but also a quick diverting game to free the kids from TV and gadgets.
