Anything that helps me to keep the kids away from tablets and gadgets is most welcome at Mummy and the Cuties (I accept there no hardly any days without them though). So, Arts and Crafts and Puzzles play an important role in our day to day life.
We recently received the Disney The Lion Guard 4 in 1 puzzle from Ravensburger. I don’t have to say more about Lion Guard as you might all be well familiar with him. So, let’s move on to talking about the Puzzle.
The Box contains 4 jigsaw puzzle featuring the main characters. Recommended for age 3+ and having four different themes makes it more fun (and, saves me a fortune as the siblings can choose what they want skipping those “I want the same” moments)
Each puzzle has a different coloured frame so it is easy to group the pieces and get going. They seem to be of different sized pieces but except for one set, I couldn’t see a big difference in sizes of the pieces. However, my 3 year old finds it very comfortable and easy to separate the pieces using the border although I might go for dealing with the center pieces.
With a set of 12 piece, a 16 piece, a 20 piece and a 24 piece, the Puzzle is brightly coloured and definitely a great engagement for the little ones. The pieces fit together well but I did find few of them a bit flimsy and it’s hard to lift them from the floor as a whole when the puzzle is done. Considering the fact that, the Puzzles are usually destroyed soon after they are made, I cared less about it. After all, they can do it again 🙂
We found it very entertaining for our 3 year old and highly recommend it as it helps to improve concentration and gives some quality time away from Gadgets (Is there any kid who doesn’t like using mobile? )
