DD2 has become a huge fan on PJ Masks, and was determined to receive a PJ masks HQ play set as a gift from Santa last Christmas. Despite many attempts from Santa to divert the interest to a different toy, though she would say OK before going to bed, she definitely woke up every day with an idea of being too good so Santa gets convinced to get PJ Masks toy for her!
She was indeed one happiest child on Christmas Morning!!!
When I received an opportunity from Ravensburger asking if we would be interested to try the new PJ Masks Team of Heroes board game, knowing the little one would be excited, I replied Yes!

Play value of PJ Masks Team of Heroes board game
The main objective of the game to stop the robots and Romeo from doing evil. Romeo and his robots are ready to attack the PJ Masks base, so as in the TV Series, the players team has to do planning and strategies to fight off the robots while simultaneously disabling Romeo’s Lab.
The game instructs the beginner lever strategies and techniques and helps the children to do a team play and work together to defect the enemies.
How to play PJ Masks Team of Heroes board game
The game starts with The heroes and the villain in position along with the 3 different colored robots. Each card explains an action to be taken on the board and also two other options for the player to choose. On Players turn, players pull the top card from a deck to reveal the next step.
The top portion of the card typically is an action to be taken with Robots, like advancing the color of one of the robots towards the PJ Masks base, adding a robot etc while the bottom portion gives players two options. The bottom options are either to move one of the PJ Masks a number of spaces to defend the robots, or to deal a hit point to Romeo’s lab. Players must plan which PJ Mask to move and when. If any robot makes it to the base, Romeo wins and the players lose. Otherwise, if the players manage to get the Lab down to 0 energy, the players win.
What we loved about PJ Masks Team of Heroes board game
Every piece is well built, including the board, the characters, the robots and the stand. The game has a lot of play value, teaching the children to be a good team player, take turns, Think twice before making a decision, building strategies and also the numbers printed printed on the cards helps a pre-schooler to learn number skills.
Though being miniatures, the characters so well built and any PJ Masks fan would absolutely love it.
The players play as a team though they take turns to move the heroes, but since all the players decision is counted in to be a winning team, there are lots of discussion and careful decision making between the players as one player’s win is a win for the whole team!
This is definitely a great gift for any PJ Masks fan and would be a perfect Birthday present at budget! PJ Masks Team of Heroes board game is available to buy from toy stores at a retail price of around £19.99 .
Do you have a PJ Masks fan at home? Do you think this game would be a great gift for the little fan?
We would love to hear you thoughts.
Until Next post…
