Le Toy Van Cookie Set from Big Game Hunters – Review

We love baking. And whenever we bake, Kneading and rolling is most times done by DD1. She Loves cooking and is a Great helper !!!!???? in the Kitchen… although I admit that, most times I am left with double the amount of tidy up and cleaning. There is so much of pretend Play at home nowadays as DD 2 has learnt to copy her sister in everything and is so much interested in playing with her. It is nice to watch them playing together despite of the (tiny) arguments. Seeing them having so much fun together, I am always on the hunt for the toys that will help them play together. And it is a double plus if it is an educational toy.

Most toys I have played with during my childhood were wooden toys. And I still remember those pretend play times with my friends. I feel the pretend play makes the kids to be more imaginative and creative and helps them learn things quickly. Recently, We have been asked to review the Le Toy Van Cookie Set from Big Game Hunters. This toy is more suitable for both daughters…………….

Yes, the Le Toy Van Cookie Set is a Wooden toy with the shape sorter and comes with a Rolling pin and the Oven Mitt for the little hands. This will definitely bring lots of fun during the playtime and will help them have a great cooking adventure!

The Le Toy Van Cookie Set includes,

• Baking Tray
• Rolling Pin

So, All you have to do now is, Start baking the most delicious cookies by rolling the cookies into place with the rolling pin, place the cookies and toppings onto the baking tray using the Velcro, and wear the fabric oven mitt to pop the cookies in the oven.

It is one of those amazing toys that helps the kids learn sharing and playing together. We have made lovely cookies with different toppings and they all tasted so yummy. This also served its purpose as an educational toy with shape sorter and DD1 can now say “Circle and Heart” and can show where the “heart”  really is 🙂

And Why Mummy liked about this product!?

• It encourages them to play together and helps them learn “Share and play”  and “Let’s Play Together”. There are five shapes of cookies to make, DD1 lets her little  sister to have a go.  The cookie can then be decorated by the little hands with different toppings and there comes the GREAT thing that mummy likes! It is a Shape sorter. DD 1 loves teaching and helping her little sister to learn the shapes and how to match the toppings to the cookies.
• The wooden toy is Very Sturdy. Even after few falls from the table, it is still stable.
• The Oven Mitt looks cool on the little hands…
• The Rolling Pin is very Helpful for Mum too. 🙂 ! Do you think I am hitting someone with it?! Oh! Please!…. Stop….. Guessing…. :), I meant the Baking part!
• If you are more smart, You can use the base as the Cookie cutter, Not very easy! But still doable!

This Le Toy Van Cookie Set is priced at 20£ at Big Game Hunters. Although, it seems a bit expensive, the quality of the toy is really good and worth it.
