Puzzles are a huge hit at Mummy and the Cuties and the little cutie is a Puzzle genius!!! Somehow she works out the pieces that will go together even without the reference picture and was a huge supporter while we were doing the Ravensburger 1000 Pieces WhatIf puzzles.
Receiving the 3D puzzles from Ravensburger is actually a feast to her curiosity and though it is for her big sister and the little one is not a number genius yet, she was happily connecting the pieces together.
We received four different 3D puzzles to review and everything finishes into a fine product at the end!
The puzzle pieces are made of plastic and are click and stick together pieces. The plastic is of very good quality and the pieces stay together (please don’t expect a 100% glued experience) as far as you don’t purposely squeeze it to break the pieces.
The puzzles are not too difficult to finish. Every piece is numbered and given a direction of which way it goes. You just have to follow the numbers and click the pieces together.
The vase comes with a removable cup to fill water and can be used to keep real flowers.
The next one in the series is the pencil holder, pretty easy to fix, this was done in no time and has been used very cautiously and getting a lot of love during homework time 🙂
We tried the Jewellery tree next which looks simple in the picture but was actually quite hard to do. The two flat pieces can be easily assembled but the surrounding joint pieces took a long time to fix and the assembled pieces came apart a few times. But we finally nailed it,
Unfortuantely, the Trinket Box has been broken by the little one and we are yet to do it. But it is a lot of fun and is a good size to store bits and pieces. Once we finish it again, I will upload the picture here, so keep an eye on this space.
Overall, we loved the 3D puzzles. They are very different and hours of fun to the children aged 7+. Though the recommended age is high, I feel it can be safely used by children aged 4+ under supervision and guidance. The little one enjoyed doing it with her big sister.
These 3D puzzles would be perfect birthday and Christmas gifts. We highly recommend them.
