Half term fun with Daisy Chains “Cool Create Daisy Chains” review

Daisy Chains – Must have been one of every girl’s favourite play during childhood and ofcourse even now, I enjoy making them with DD1. More than playing in the park, all she loves is making daisy chains. When the making part is done, the hardest job is always with me – keeping them safe without breaking the chains. I wouldn’t want to come home with the crying child so I would take much care to keep them safe and come home happily.

Hearing my voice and knowing that how tough it is, CoolCreate has come up with a lovely idea of “Cool Create Daisy Chains”. It is very simple to follow instructions and will keep the kids entertained for hours.

The box contains:

• A flower-shaped flower-maker
• One flower picker which can also be a Hair clip.
• 30 fabric flowers
• 20 flower stems
• 20 flower beads
• 10 round beads
• 4 clips.

The most lovable fact about this creative toy is, it comes with clear instructions that the children can follow easily and create the designs by their own. Ofcourse, there were few call outs for me to help and to see what’s going on, but she was able to do most things by herself.

As the picture clearly explains what to do and how to do, it is really simple to make designs with the flowers. You can create layers using multiple flowers and contrast them by choosing the appropriate colours.

Believe me or Not, I had atleast 2 hours of my own time in half term as this lovely Cool Create Daisy Chains kept DD1 busy for sometime while DD 2 was napping. She enjoyed exploring all the options of making use of the daisys and the Net result – “One Happy Child”

Though DD2 couldn’t keep herself calm after her nap and seeing her sister playing with something very exciting, she was not allowed to play with Daisy Chains as it is not suitable for under 4 Years due to small parts. So, At the end, we decided to make her happy by letting her try the necklace and the clip. Isn’t she pretty? :).. Look at this cheeky look and this clearly shows how much she wants to copy her big sister in everything :)!

What is Plus about Cool Create Daisy Chains:

• Clear instructions so the little ones can read and follow with less help from grown-ups.
• No Glues or sticky tapes, so it can be reused multiple times.
• Enough number of flowers and stems to make a set of necklace, bracelet and a hair clip – Note: if you use layers of flowers then you might end up doing a little.
• Keep the kids entertained.
• The stems and flowers are really strong that they don’t tear apart while the little hands are slightly rough on them while pulling.

What could have been improved:

I felt the colour of the flowers are slightly lighter than showed in the picture. Though there were few colour choices, all looked lighter and it would have been nice if there was a mix of lighter and darker shades.
