My eldest can stay in the pool forever until I drag her out of it. She even hated wearing an arm band as she thought it would hinder her movements in the pool! She is a super learner – cycling without supporting wheels at the age of 3, swimming through the lagoon pool at the age of 4 and if allowed she would have tried her skills at the adult pool too! She is a super badminton player – enthusiastic to do anything physical but not academic!
However, No two rainbows are identical and no two fingers are the same and so my youngest daughter! She is a good learner too No biking and No swimming, hates holding badminton racquet! She is just on touch and go on everything.
Though DD2 is confident in water, she hates swimming as she can’t swim for long and she gets frustrated about not being able to swim a long distance. So, when we were invited to try the new Zoggs Water Wing Vest, I happily accepted the invitation as children are always curious in trying something new and hoping the Wings would let her learn to enjoy swim time.
The new Water Wing Vest provides fixed buoyancy and encourages a natural swimming position to get little ones used to using their arms and legs to move around in the water. The Water Wing Vest features a neoprene body and super soft sleeves with foam floats strategically sewn into the arms and shoulders to provide exceptional buoyancy and ease of movement.
The vest features a zip which does up at the back and a tab to hold it in place so little ones won’t be able to remove the vest in the pool. The sleeves help to stop the jacket from riding up around the neck, so little ones can build their swim confidence in comfort with this fantastic vest.
What we liked about the Zoggs Water Wing Vest
- Gives complete freedom in water so the children can enjoy swim time without having an adult supervising them too closely.
- Stays tight and feels very secure – there is no slip or discomfort.
- Puts children forward into a natural swimming position in the water so they learn swimming moving their arms and legs.
- Helps building confidence and encourage to learn by giving enough comfort and a great secure feel.
- The children can’t remove the vest on their own which is a great peace of mind for the parents.
We went on a two weeks holiday recently and I really wanted to have some me time while the kids are at the pool – The wings was wonderful, wasn’t slipping off, helped her to float and most importantly she can’t remove it on her own so I was at peace and don’t have to monitor her throughout her pool time (Her big sister was in the same pool at the deep end).
The water wing vests are available from Zoggs.com and Amazon and is available in ages 2-3 or 4-5 and comes with RRP of £23.99. There is a Mermaid Flower Water Wing Swim Vest Wings for girls and Deep Sea Water Wing Swim Vest for boys
