Clarks – Someone whom I always trust. So, It was a double bonus for us when we were invited again for the AW14 press day. As usual, Little Miss M accompanied me to test the shoes and to choose the best for her. Â Though I was so frightened of the tube journey with her, She had a good nap throughout the travel and (un)fortunately, had the full energy just when we arrived at the site!
Fortunatly, when we dropped in, it was a bit quiet and thanks to the lovely PR people who took time in their busy schedule to be friendly with Miss M and discussing with her about the new AW14 collection on baby shoes in her baby language to her! 🙂 I think they did have a very serious discussion about what she likes from the collection and why so!:)
As I was browsing through the collection, I have noticed they all were themed based on London street names and this was something very eye-catchy.
Megalights should get your attention soon!
In any event, the first place I would drop in, is the kids collection (if they do have one) and I, this time as well, strictly followed my routine. So, the first thing that attracted me was the Full Beam Black Patent Combi. Clarks have developed a range of hi-top trainers called Megalights. Megalights do as their name suggests and a beam of light wraps around the sole for 360 degrees of brilliant fun. The light can be switched on and off, pulse or flash and the battery is rechargeable via a computer using the USB cable free with every pair. The key styles are Full Pulse for boys and Full Beam for girls.
Introducing Binkies – bunny fun for little feet
New for AW14  are the truly enchanting Binkies – a loveable trio of bunnies, best friends and playmates. There’s Elfin, who loves to dance; Poppi, whose favourite thing is sport and Vienna, who knows all about the latest fashions. From rabbit ears and footprints on the uppers to bunnies playing in patterns on the soles, character details are a feature of every pair and must-have styles include Nibbles Fluff in ultra-soft premium tan leather and Nibbles Cute in anthracite.
There were few other great collections for boys and they were as colourful and bright just as how the pretty girls shoes are, except that they reflected the heroism in them! 🙂
Pretty Women collections:
How could leave the Clarks event without looking for shoes for me!!? After all, a busy mum should also be treated once in a while! Clarks would never forget the pretty women and busy mums!
I love these trendy (maybe) traditional look footwear. Though I like high heels occasionally for sarees, I usually love to go out with Flats for events and meetings. Season favourite, the Hamble Oak, returns in classic ox-blood patent leather updated with multi-coloured Linton Tweed providing a glimpse of inspiration drawn from the archives.
There are more in the Womens range for AW14. So, You will never run out of your choice to match your Outfit.
Orla Kiely
One of Clarks Prestigious collection and the one I would be proud to wear.
Originals:
No Clarks press event is complete without Originals! They are so original as their name says and very unique and stylish. I would have collected everything over there and brought home! But because it was the press event, I had to leave it for other people to view it. 🙂
Disclaimer: I was invited to the AW14 press day and was under no obligation to write this post. I just thought it would be nice to share it with my readers so they are ready to choose their favourite when AW14 collection is in store.Â
love those bunny wellies! Just bought by son new clarks shoes at the weekend. They had a promotion at a store near us and gave out balloons and badges and water bottles along with 10% off so it was really fun. xxx
