Last weekend, we were all up early, kids got ready in no time and was roaming around in their Halloween costumes trying to be as scary as they can be! (They still looked lovely just like Mavis! 🙂 )
Did you get it! ???? “Just like Mavis”….. and while I let your imagination flow…., Oh wait! let me reveal it… we need to be talking about some special screening. it’s all the excitement of going for Hotel Transylvania 2 – An exclusive screening for Mumsnet.
We loved Hotel Transylvania – 1. If you haven’t watched it, It’s all about the human Johnny (Jonathan) who ends up in a Dracula’s hotel where he meets his “Zing” Mavis. While Mavis’s Dad Drac’s attempts to evacuate Johnny from Hotel Transylvania, Johnny finally manages to impress him through his funny character and the incredible dad finally takes all he could to get her daughter married to Johnny.
The movie was so beautifully screened that we were waiting to see Hotel Transylvania 2 and there popped a mail from Mumsnet inviting us to Vue, WestField, london for the exclusive screening from Mumsnet. After taking a few pictures with the chracters, we wnet in for the screening. The kids were in over joy about the Masks and the pop corn.
Hotel Transylvania 2 revloves around the Grand pa (Papa Drac) and the little grand son Dennis who is so adorably cute. Though Papa Drac loves his half human/half Dracula grandson Dennis, but from his heart, he has feelings for his grandson not showing up his Vampire skills. And things get serious when his daughter Mavis decides to move to California thinking Dennis would have a better life there as he is mostly human just like his dad.
So, to make her stay at Hotel Transylvania, Papa Drac builds a master plan with his son-in-law Johnny and takes the help from his crew – Frankenstein, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to train his grandson. As things get worse with the visit of the great grandpa…… Well, You should watch it in Cinema to see what happens next………….
The movie is all about accepting something to the fullest and letting it go when there is a need!
There are loads of “wowwwwwwwww and Ohhhhhhhhh” scenes that will bring you to the tip of the chair. My children enjoyed the movie to the fullest and the little one was kept on asking questions throughout the movie and even after that! You can watch the Trailer here.
We also did a brief filming with Mumsnet about our views on Transylvania 2 and watch this space for the video! 🙂
