Any arts and crafts that keep my kids away from the prolonged screen time are most welcome at Mummy and the Cuties and are most loved. If you are a regular reader to Mummy and the Cuties, you might know DD2 is a Puzzle mad and too good in getting the pieces together in no time (As far as they are not the What If Puzzles that we reviewed before!)
The Dora and Friends Puzzle from Ravensburger is aimed at children aged 5+ and comes in 3*49 pieces. There are three different pictures and the pictures can easily be grouped using the border colour and the pattern at the back of the Puzzle pieces.
Though it is claimed to the Puzzle for 5+, I feel it is still doable for children aged 4+ id they have the interest and patience and most importantly if they love Puzzles. The pieces fit well to each other and doesn’t break up that soon. The bright colours in each set make it easier to identify the pieces that will go together and DD2 had finished all three in less than half an hour. She has done a similar one with Frozen and Disney Lion Guard characters, so this was much easier for her.
As a mother who always finds options to engage the children who easily glue themselves to the screen too soon, Dora and Friends Puzzle was great and definitely a good activity and time well spent. The pieces are well built and have great details and keeps the children attentive until the puzzle is finished.
I highly recommend Dora and Friends. The Ravensburger Dora and Friends 3*49 pieces puzzle is priced at around 5.99£ and available from all the toy stores and Amazon.
