Puzzles always have a warm welcome from Mummy and the Cuties. It first started from DD2 who showed a lot of interest to puzzles and to be honest, DD1 had very less interest over them until came a situation that she needs to help DD2 in solving the puzzles. So, graudually she was dragged into it too and now puzzles have become one of our favourite activities.
To feed out thirst, we were sent two boxes of London Gift Puzzles from Ravensburger. We love London not only because it is busy and feels like home but you also have fantastic places to visit nearby and it keeps you active and get going.
These are 17 piece puzzles and priced approximately around £4.99.
A bit challenging as the pieces are small and took around an hour for me and DD1 to put it together but we had great fun identifying the sites.
The London Guardsman puzzles features the Guardman in centre as you can see with other attractions designed around him.
It features the best-known London tourist sights – The London Eye, The Gherkin, St Paul’s Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. It also has the images of a red telephone box and a tube train.
We are yet to do the I love London Bobby – a Police man. Half term went quite busy with holidays and I hope the London Bobby deserves a time over the weekend 🙂 It also features Tower Bridge, The Shard, Westminster Bridge, Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) and The Natural History Museum. Also includes images of the iconic Black Cab and the new Routemaster bus.
Overall I am quite impressed with the Puzzles, as you can see we have moved the puzzles from place to place while half done but the pieces clipped on each other very well and didn’t collapse during transit 🙂
Though they are categorised as adult puzzles they are suitable from 9 years old. My 10 year old was able to do it (with some help from me, it is quite easy but she didn’t have patience and wanted to finish it fast). This would be an ideal gift to any puzzle lover and can be a great holiday activity.
