Ravensburger has a huge collection of Puzzles for all ages and their What If Puzzles are designed like a riddle and quite challenging for the youngsters and usually solves a question when the puzzle is done. What If Puzzles are usually aimed at older children and young adults and comes in 1000 pieces. We have done one before and the review is available here if you are interested on a quick read.
The Wedding is number 16 in the What If Series and as with others in the series, The Wedding is also a challenging puzzle.
The Puzzle comes with a question to be solved and be sure not to be fooled by the picture o on the box. The completed puzzle will look totally different from what’s displayed in the box. I admit, it was quite difficult to put the pieces together as there is NO clue at all.
There are similar colours in different areas of the Puzzle, so it is quite hard to figure out which piece goes where. To make it slightly easier, we started off with the corner and side pieces first ( I Know, you need quite a lot of patience to group them first) and then moved on from there. You can do the Notice boards and speech bubbles too by finding the letters.
Considering the size of the puzzle and the time you might take to finish the puzzle (We took one whole week), it is better to have a base so you can move it around if you would like to.
Finishing the quotes would be another clue to get you going. Honestly, to begin with, the puzzle might look a little boring to you and might let you have few gasps out of frustration. However, Patience is the Virtue and as you move on, the clues will be on their way and even the family :), We all four were glued to the puzzle. And it is interesting to see what happens actually at the wedding!
There are a lot of characters to resolve and the puzzle gets quite interesting later on. There are other puzzles in the What If series including a Christmas riddle and the What If puzzles are priced at around £10.
