R/C Inflatable Despicable Me 3 Range – Review

Despicable Me is our family favourite and most of the dialogues from the movie are almost used everyday at Mummy and the Cuties! – Especially – “I will stuff you all in Crust” – By Mom, “Does this count of annoying”, “Pinky Promise”  – By the Kids.

Agnes Pony is DD2’s most favourite hair styles – specially when we are at Legoland or other theme parks to compensate a few millimeters of height restrictions if at all we could 🙂

They were far too excited about Despicable Me 3 and I was very sure that having an opportunity to review the Despicable Me 3 Remote Controlled Inflatables would be a very exciting activity during summer holidays for them!

The RC inflatables are from Bladez Toyz and there are 3 available in the range – leader of the Minions Mel, jailbreak Tom and Agnes’ adorable unicorn Fluffy!  We received Tom and the Fluffy Unicorn from the range. 

Inside the box, there is a minion inflatable and a remote control. The inflatable needs 4 AA batteries and the remote control needs 2 AA batteries! – The batteries are not supplied so be sure to have some ready before showing it to the little one!

While Tom and Mel can make the sounds from Despicable Me 3, The Fluffy Unicorn adored my little one with her cuteness and movements.

The inflatables need to be blown up but this is just when a grown up’s help is needed! It’s not a hard job as they are not massive!  Once the batteries are in and the inflatables are ready, You are all set to go! 

The batteries go on the back of the inflatable and secured with the screws! On the Minion inflatables, there is an option to switch off the sounds (In the ON/OFF switch itself – Sorry it isn’t visible in the picture) and  fluffy Unicorn comes with an ON/OFF switch (remember it doesn’t make any sound). 

The inflatables are around 35cm tall and there are only two directions on the remote – forward and spin around. You need to hold down the control button on the handset for a couple of seconds and the characters will sync with the remote, ready to play!

With the Minions thrown into jail, you can now drive and spin your jail break themed radio control inflatable Tom using the easy to control handset and hear him say phrases from the film.

The inflatables are very sturdy and once inflated, stays puffed for a long time. It is easy to deflate too for storage and carrying along. It is retailed at £24.99 and I feel it is a good value.
