Half Term or a Play day!? There should be something interesting to keep the kids playing together and to have less mess and much less negotiation talks. Whatever we do and however I try, the peace on the first hour of play slowly diminishes and I always had to jump in for the rescue.

But one day, there was a team effort and everything went smooth…all with the help of 4M Green Science Green Rocket from Great Gizmos.

It is a simple kit that comes with the pipes and screws to help your little child build his/her own Rocket. Very Simple and clear instructions that are easy to understand and follow for any 8 years old children. They might need help in screwing (!) part though. All the instructions are explained with detailed pictures which I felt is very useful. It comes with all the bits needed and gives you a little job of finding two emptied bottles from your recycled container- A little something from you to help with recycling. It is very simple to assemble and is ready to launch in a maximum of 30 minutes. And here is our finished Rocket ready to be launched.

More than the kids, I was panicking a bit as I wasn’t sure whether it would really work!? But….. Within few minutes it proved to be a great fun for the kids and at one stage we had to get daddy for rescuing the Rocket that landed on the Kitchen Roof. Hopefully it reached the 25m height as given in the Manual.

The instructions also detail the fun facts about the Rocket like where the Rocket was invented, How the real Rocket is launched? What other things that work similar to a Rocket? How the Rocket Launcher in the kit works and so on.

The kids had a competition to see whose Rocket would go higher and sometimes even longer! And with the tremendous pressure on the bottle, We had to change the bottle twice :), Glad I have kept a few bottles as a backup :).
