Anything that keeps my children away from TV and Laptop gets double of my love and eventually, Toys and Games, Arts and Crafts, Days out are something we love the most as they ensure family time together that is worth spent.
We love trying new toys and you must have read our review about Hotel Tycoon Board Game from Esdevium Games and the Giveaway that had a massive reach.
We have also received “Dobble” – A game that comes in a tiny Box but is a massive hit and ridiculously fun to play.
It’s a memory Game and helps improve the concentration, responsiveness and boosts memory.
Dobble is a 5 in 1 game and comes with an instruction sheet. We struggled initially to understand how to play, then made up our own game and succeeded by practise. The video below might give you a quick idea about what the game is all about.
What is Dobble:
- Card game for 2-8 players aged 6 and above, Can be played by anyone and prepare yourself to tackle a toddler if you have one at home.
- It’s all about matching symbols which are similar in shape and/or size.
- Find a match as quick as you can and shout out to win!
Mini Games that you can play with Dobble:
- Fill the Well
- The Towering Inferno
- Hot Potato
- Catch them all
- The Poisoned Gift
Simple instructions to have fun:
Find a match – ! Improve your speed, observation & reflexes
- The circular cards feature an assortment of colourful images including insects, flowers, symbols and smiley faces.
- Every Dobble card is unique and has only one picture in common with every other card in the deck making each game a b
- Once a player finds the match, they shout it out before other players and either take the card or place it somewhere else, depending on which of the 5 mini-games they are playing.
There is no big strategy here, it is just simple observation and memory and quickest reactions. Even the little one who is 3 was so keen and I use the cards to help her find the match and make the Game simple; she simply loves it.
There is also a Dobble kids version that comes with funny cards especially made for little ones.
And, for my lovely readers, if you have missed the Hotel Tycoon giveaway, there is another chance to win Dobble from Esdevium Games.
