Review: OXO Good Grips Colander set

You must have read our review about OXO Tots and OXO Good Grips products. We had another opportunity from OXO to review this attractive, just the right size 3-Piece Berry Bowl and Colander Set.

The 3-Piece Berry Bowl & Colander Set includes a Small Bowl (1.4L), a Small Colander (95ml), and a Lid.

The holes in the colander are just the right size to hold your fruits and veggies in place without slipping off through the hole and a perfect size for rinsing berries, quinoa, beans and more. The Bowl and the colander nest for compact storage, a must-have for consumers with limited space.

The curved Bowl has no internal angles or corners, ensuring efficient mixing and easy cleaning. The Colander has an elevated ring along the bottom to keep it stable in the sink or on the countertop and elongated holes for fast, efficient draining.

The Bowl features a non-slip bottom for stability. You can just leave the bowl full of fruits on the Sink, run the water, clean them nicely and store in the bowl straightaway, sealing the lid. There are no slip and spill. The Red and white tone looks very appealing on any kitchen table and perfect to keep it on your dining table.

The lid seals the Bowl for convenient food storage in the fridge, or rests on nested Bowl and Colander to stack while storing. And most importantly for a busy mum, I am very happy about the feature that the Bowl, Colander and lid are dishwasher safe.

This 3 piece colander set is available to buy from OXO for £15. Though it looks a bit pricey, for the design and durable material, I feel it is worth it. I can not see anything negative about this product except that there is no choice of colour. But you do get a bigger size colander set in white.
