Shimmer and Shine Pony tail and Purse set – Review

DD2 is a huge fan of Shimmer and Shine and it is one the best dressing up time she enjoys. Her happiness doubled when she received a Wish Come True Shimmer Purse set and the Shimmer and Shine Ponytail.

The Shimmer and Shine ponytails are available in both  pink and blue and comes with a beautifully designed hairband and slide to keep the ponytail securly in child’s head. It is advised to make a bun and then fit the ponytail. DD2 has more than shoulder length hair and we found it easy to fit it on her head  but if your child ha short hair, I am not sure if it will workout!? The ponytail is very silky and looks beautiful!

The Wish come true purse set comes with 2 bracelets, a brush, a magic wish necklace, 2 sticker sheets and the purse to keep everything tidy when not in use. The purse can hold all the accessories and I found it very helpful. The set is aimed at children aged 3 so the bracelets are smaller that will fit only the smaller wrists. 

The purse is designed with holographic eyes which is very attractive to the little children. The magic necklace features shimmer and shine and shows the characters on twisting the neck. The set is great to encourage the imaginative play and a perfect way to stimulate role play. DD2 enjoys playing with the accessories and the purse set and here are some pictures and video from us.

Shimmer and Shine ponytail is retailed for £9.99 and the Wish come true purse set is priced approximately around 14.99. Considering the role play and imaginative play value for the set, it is worth paid.
