Strand Bands Designer Kit from Flair Plc – Girls Arts and Crafts – Review

You might have noticed that Mummy and the Cuties has got a slight addiction to Bracelets. We enjoyed making Shimmer & Sparkle Bracelets and the 4M Friendship Bracelet. Anyways, there is no end to the fun in making Bracelets, so in that series, we received the Strand Bands Designer Kit from Flair Plc to have more fun.

The Strand band designer set comes with 62 pieces of accessories to make your own bracelets and rings. The Strand Styler features an open center for easy weaving and has slits at the bottom to hold the bands and plots tight. It includes over 180 feet strand bands in 5 different colours. Also includes a good collections of beads and charms to decorate your Strand band bracelet.

It is just as how you would do hair plaiting. To start with, choose the number of strands you want in the required length and colour and make a knot. Hold it tight using the peg provided on the top of the Strand Styler, split them and then start plaiting your own chosen style. The bottom slits and the top peg will keep the strands in place.

The beads are definitely a good collection but I haven’t found the instruction sheet very helpful. We followed the videos that are available in Strand Bands website and found them very useful. There are different techniques and designs to do.
