If you are a regular reader to our blog, you might have noticed how much we loved Hotel Tycoon and Dobble from Esdevium games. They are always known for their attractive colours, encouraging group play and motivating interactive skills
As Dobble and Hotel Tycoon are for older kids, not to disappoint DD2, the lovely people at Esdevium games sent us “Palace Pets – Royal Pet Salon” game for us to try.
The Palace Pets in the game are incredibly cute to be kept in the box when they are not busy in the Salon and so they are most used now in other role play games that the kids often played during their summer holidays.
Palace Pets – Royal Pet Salon comes with
- 1 x game board
- 4 interlocking wall panels
- 2 plastic wall braces
- 4 pet movers
- 1 spinner
- 1 clock frame
- 4 clock tiles
- 49 goodies cards
- An instruction sheet
It comes with very clear and simple to follow instructions with illustrative pictures.
The objective of the game is to collect as many cards as you can and at the end of the play, the player with most cards win. It wasn’t too hard to setup the game board but if your child is not too old enough, you might have to do it for them.
You start with 3 cards facing up and then spin the wheel and take decision based on what the spinner is telling you to do. Try to match as many cards as you can to the objects shown in each room as you move and whenever you match a card to an object, you collect that card. And rememer, the more the cards you collect, more is the chance to win the game!
Being a very simple game, it is perfect to play with little ones. Helps improving the memory skills and matching the objects help the kids to improve their thinking and analysing skills.
Palace pets – Royal Salon is available from all major toy stores and priced approximately around £20. You can find your nearest stockist here.
