I have seen my Dad smoking for as long as I can remember, and all that time he’s been trying to quit. I love my Dad to the core, but there are days that I’ve shouted at him when I saw him smoking near my children. As a non-smoker, I do feel sorry for people who really want to quit smoking but are struggling to do so. I REALLY wished for something that could do a magic to help my Dad– and avoid all that passive smoking for myself and my children.
When Dad lost his taste buds, he did keep himself away from cigarettes. Soon after regaining the taste, he went back to smoking again – obviously trying to hide the fact from us. Though he understands the risks of smoking and passive smoking, he is still finding it really hard to quit.
Though I don’t smoke and neither does my hubby, I was looking for an alternative smoking product for Dad. He is visiting us soon and I don’t want my children to be the victims of passive smoking. That brought me to find Nicoccino, a Swedish brand that developed a thin nicotine film that dissolves under the lip and claims it’s the best ‘smokeless alternative’ in the market (it is made out natural ingredients, and of course it does not affect anyone around, as it is 100% smokeless). Each film is the equivalent to the strength of one cigarette, and that’s exactly what I’m giving Dad as soon as he comes!
It looks quite simple to use: Just pop the film onto the gum and it then dissolves, apparently providing the satisfaction of smoking one whole cigarette. Considering the double benefit (for the smoker and for the people around them) of being ‘smokeless’, Nicoccino can be used anywhere, and it’s perfect when kids are around.
I’ve also heard of the new law that prevents adults from smoking in the car with children and thought that Nicoccino is definitely an alternative to consider as there is no passive smoke.
Regarding safety concerns, Nicoccino is “free from tobacco and chemicals, patented and produced to pharmaceutical standards”, so you can use it with peace of mind.
I think it’s always important to know about new alternatives, and I’ll be more than happy if this helps spark the idea to quit or reduce, to at least one of my readers. I will update this post as soon as I have my Dad try it and share his experience.
